“Vulnerability Is a Form of Self Care” reflects on a quiet childhood memory. A young boy, wearing a hand-knit sweater from his great aunt, heads outside to feed his rabbit, Rose Marie - named after Hollywood Squares regular Rose Marie. Originally given as an Easter gift by his grandfather, the bunny arrived dyed an artificial lime green, though she was in fact a white rabbit with pink eyes. One day, without explanation, she disappeared. The work gently holds that moment - an early lesson in attachment, care, and the quiet complexities of growing up.
